Hard to be selective

Hunting in Saskatchewan in a wheat field that attracted lots of Pintails and Mallards.

I could not distinguish Pintail males and females in flight. The in-hand pictures show male left and female right.

Bills and wings are the only easy ways to distinguish males and females.
