Black-bellied Whistling Ducks

One last photo from my swing through Louisiana.

The expansion of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks is super cool. Louisiana is set to start a special short season on them in October 2026.

Beautiful ducks despite the long gangly legs for perching in trees.
