The largest event for duck hunters lands in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 24-26 

BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA — Delta Waterfowl proudly announces HEVI, makers of HEVI-Shot Ammunition, as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Expo, set for July 24-26 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The public show will feature more than 200 exhibitors from the waterfowl hunting industry.  

HEVI, an industry leader in performance shotshell ammunition manufactured in Sweet Home, Oregon, brings more than two decades of innovation in non-toxic waterfowl loads to the partnership. Delta’s Duck Hunters Expo is the largest event in North America dedicated to the duck hunter. Tens of thousands of waterfowl hunting enthusiasts — including Delta donors, volunteers, members, and supporters — will convene in Des Moines from across the United States and Canada to celebrate waterfowl hunting and conservation. Visitors can browse hundreds of booths showcasing everything from gear and guns to outfitted hunts, boats, and calls for all pursuits. Live demonstrations and seminars will cover duck dog training, wild game cuisine, hunting strategies, and all things waterfowl.

All proceeds from the Expo will support Delta’s mission to use science-based solutions to produce ducks, conserve prairie wetlands, and ensure the future of waterfowl hunting.
